National Photography Archive

rchivo de Fotografía Patrimonial del INPC

The patrimonial photograph carries information that allows reconstruction of our social and historical memory. This project, developed by the NCPI from 2014, aims to consolidate the National Archives of Photography that provide research, information, knowledge and entertainment of the Ecuadorian population.

The National Archive of Photography is available to the public, through this portal, and will feature more than 20 thousand photographs until the end of 2015. The photographic collection includes photography from its beginnings in 1840 until the second half the twentieth century. In 2009: Daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, tintypes and original paper prints and negatives were declared as ecuadorian cultural heritage.
